United States Campus Genomics Graduate Programs & Graduate Schools
The field of genomics is focused on how best to use research and analysis of DNA in our daily lives. Campus genetics graduate programs are interdisciplinary and are designed to train students for possible careers in the field of genomics. University genetics programs also prepare professionals for possible work in government agencies or teaching at the university level. If you are drawn to understanding how organisms work at the DNA level, an exciting career in this scientific field is for you.
By enrolling in one of the on-campus genetics graduate programs, you can gain the skills and experience to launch a possible career in genetics. When you take traditional classes on campus, you enjoy the benefits of working side by side with other students, faculty, and practitioners who share your passion for researching and studying life at the DNA level. An on-campus genetics graduate program also offers opportunities to network professionally. In some genomics graduate programs, you may be able to do your graduate studies on a part time or full time basis—there might also be study abroad opportunities. In all programs, you can specialize at both the master and doctorate degree levels and, in some programs, at the graduate certificate level. Some examples of these academic specializaitons include a Masters of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology, and an Integrative Genomics Certificate. You can also focus your graduate studies on earning a degree designed for possible teaching opportunities at the college level.
You can select from the genetics graduate programs to meet your career goals by using GradSchools filters to search by location, degree type and specialization. There is no reason to wait to earn your degree. Discover the perfect genomics programs for you at accredited colleges and universities today!
