What is an LCSW?

They also determine the scope of their practice. The Licensed Clinical SW is an extremely specialized soc worker who has:

2. Passed the necessary steps to gain state licensure (requirements vary by state)

LMSW vs LCSW

Many states require a MSW graduate to become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
