LMSW vs LCSW

Many states require a MSW graduate to become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). For professionals who have already earned a BSW and work in the field (direct service positions such as caseworker or mental health assistant) the social work master is a prerequisite of practicing as a Licensed Clinical SW.
