Program Description:

Wisconsin Lutheran College's Master of Arts: Teaching program is ideal for mid-career professionals and bachelor's degree graduates interested in transitioning to a career in teaching. The program is also ideal for those currently working in education looking to become certified and licensed. In as little as two years, students can complete 36 credits of coursework for Wisconsin state licensure, with only six additional credits to earn their Master of Arts: Teaching degree upon receiving their licensure. Students may also choose to do additional specialized coursework to qualify for Wisconsin administrative licensing as a principal (WI #5051) or director of instruction (WI #5010).

Our Master of Arts: Teaching program with state licensure blends both online and classroom learning; allowing flexibility and convenience, while also providing a robust learning experience! Students may obtain licensure in early childhood, elementary, secondary, or wide-range education. Financial aid, tuition discounts, and referral scholarships may apply – ask your enrollment advisor if you qualify.

Licensing Opportunities:

Wisconsin state teaching certification/licensure areas include Early Childhood (EC/MC WI #5071), Elementary (MC/EA WI #5072), and Secondary (EA/A WI #5073).
