Program Description:

The Certificate program in State and Local Taxation is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pursue or advance careers within tax departments of corporations, CPA firms, law firms, and government agencies. Students wishing to earn a Certificate in State and Local Taxation must be admitted as a non-degree graduate student in the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee or enrolled in a master's degree program in the Lubar School of Business. Students wishing to earn the Certificate must complete the required 12 graduate credit hours with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
