Program Description:

The Certificate in Museum Studies is designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in the museum world. It must be completed in conjunction with a UWM graduate degree program. Students in the M.S. in Anthropology must complete a minimum of 39 credits to earn the certificate and the master's degree. Those interested in attaining a Certificate in Museum Studies must indicate this in their application to the program. Students deciding to pursue the Certificate after having started the M.S. program must apply in writing to the Director of Graduate Studies by the deadline for Fall admission. In addition to the 15 credits required for the certificate, the following courses and credits are required:
