Format: Campus

Program Description:

Gonzaga University provides a program leading to the M.A. In Philosophy that prepares students for teaching at the introductory college level, further studies at the Ph.D. level, and use of philosophical tools in professions such as law, ethics, and religion. The large and diverse faculty, all with Ph.D. degrees, and fairly small size of the program, allow for individualized study and close faculty-student contact. The diversity of the faculty allows study in a number of areas, though history of philosophy and social and applied ethics are particularly well represented. Limited financial aid in the form of scholarships and graduate assistantships is available.
