Most students in the program take all the same courses together, building a strong learning community with each other and the core faculty. They get to know each otheré-(s projects, lives, work situations and dreams and can offer each other highly informed feedback and advice. The participants will come for eight-day intensives four times a year and do the rest of the program through distance learning. In the eight weeks of each quarter between the face-to-face sessions, participants will read, post reports or papers, comment on each otheré-(s work, dialog with other participants and faculty and contribute to a weekly teleconference with a faculty member.Each participant will have a close relationship with a faculty advisor who will help direct their studies, suggest reading and other resources and give feedback on papers and other participant output.
