Program Description:

The Department offers the BS, MS and PhD degrees in biomedical engineering, and is a hub for BME in SEAS. It is strongly collaborative in both education and research, engaging faculty across the School and University, and in the DC region, while leveraging the proximity of the GW Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Children’s National Medical Center, and Federal agencies. Biomedical engineering is integrated into the academic and research programs of the School, providing an exceptional breadth of undergraduate and graduate level opportunities, with respect to both degree majors and research projects.
