Why Consider Norwich University?

The American System of Education began at Norwich University. So, you could say they’ve always been educational innovators and they keep right on doing it today. In fact, they were first for many illustrious choices they’ve made. Examples of this include: In 1974 Norwich admitted women to the Corps of Cadets – a bold move. The right move. Norwich University was also one of the first US schools to admit international students. In 1819 NU was the first private university to teach engineering. Other schools concentrated on classical studies but the nation really needed the country building innovations of engineers. Their collegiate military band was the first military band in the nation in 1820 and remains the oldest to date. Best of all, NU continues to build the nation. Their graduates are actively making the country better. Current graduates include the former CEO of NBC, the CEO of the nation’s most prominent accounting and consulting firm, a partner in one of the world’s premier brokerage and investment houses, as well as the former Chief of Staff of the Army.

Norwich University Is More than Just a College

Principles aren’t just plaques on the wall at Norwich, they are a way of life. To see this in action, all you have to do is check out their stats. For instance, 84% of Norwich students volunteer for civic or military service. Norwich students even provide safety and protection off campus with  such support as the cybersecurity NU students brought to Super Bowl 50. Now that’s some all american patriotic assistance at work! These principles engage Norwich students in all aspects of life, even after graduation they reap the benefits. We can see this because Norwich graduates have a 96% job placement rate within eight months of graduating. Esteemed faculty include nationally renowned subject matter experts, published authors and researchers, high-ranking retired military officers, and accomplished professionals in various industries and sectors. Best of all, Norwich professors go above and beyond with their commitment.
