Program Description:

The UT-Austin Master’s in Engineering Management program combines core management curriculum and engineering technical courses giving engineers a tech-savvy alternative to a traditional MBA. This program is designed to meet the growing demand for technical leaders who have the ability to manage business change and solve problems with innovative solutions.

The 30-credit hour program is comprised of 10 courses, including two project courses, Project A and Project B. Students follow a prescribed course sequence, which includes course work in management, negotiations, marketing, engineering economics, and product development. This degree prepares you to move into advanced engineering management positions, or business leadership roles and allows you to strategically plan your next career move
