Program Description:

The master's and doctoral degree programs in the Department of Health Studies prepare graduates for leadership positions in the disciplines of health education and health promotion. The core curriculum provides students with a blend of health education and health promotion theory and practice. Students are also required to select one of the three focal areas - community, health management, or higher education - which provides course concentration on programming and professional practice in those areas.
