The Master of Public Administration degree is a 39-semester hour program consisting of a core of 30 hours including a 3 hour written applied research project and a 9-hour career support area selected from Administration of Allied Health Services, Administration of Criminal Justice Systems, General Public Administration, Government Information Systems, Human Resources Administration, International Relations, Legal and Judicial Administration, Public Finance Administration, Public Personnel Administration, and Urban Planning. A 3-hour public service internship is required for pre-service students in the MPA program.
