Art Student Opportunities
Student Art Association
Student Art Association is a group of art students working to promote the visual arts at USD. SAA members participate in weekly meetings and collaborate on art projects to improve understanding of art and opportunities for community involvement. Students do not need to be art majors to be part of the SAA.
Midwest Press members attend meetings, create exhibition opportunities, review national conferences and work to bring printmaking to the USD community.
American Institute of Graphic Arts Student Chapter (AIGA)
AIGA at USD offers Graphic Design majors the opportunity to get involved in the local design community, create a community of their own and build leadership skills that will be invaluable as they move into the professional world. Members attend weekly meetings and collaborate on design projects for local businesses.
