Operations research focuses on the various mathematical and analytical techniques that have proven useful in numerous organizational operational problems. The process involves forming a mathematical model, analyzing the model, and making practical recommendations based on the analysis. Courses emphasize linear programming, stochastic models, queuing theory, and matrix theory. Courses are offered during the summer and in the evening to accommodate the schedules of working professionals
