The Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Juris Doctor dual degree program provide students an opportunity to study criminology - examining the nature and causes of crime - as well as justice system management and the legal frameworks necessary to practice law in the courtroom. The School of Law at Roger Williams University is the only law school in the State of Rhode Island, offering you unparalleled access to state and federal government officials. RWU Law is one of the only law schools in the country to guarantee clinical experience during your studies.
To participate in the dual degree program, students must apply to the School of Law, be admitted, and complete one full year of study in the J.D. program before adding courses in the M.S. program. Both degrees may be completed in three years.
