There has been a long tradition of international education at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. The Master of Law Program has been in existence for over 110 years. Since the late 19th century, foreign lawyers, prosecutors, judges and others have come here to further their understanding of United States and international law. They have taken the opportunity to learn from the Penn Law faculty, who are recognized experts in their fields, as well as the J.D. students. Each entering LL.M. class is small, usually 90 students, representing approximately 25 different countries.
