Program Description:

The University of Pennsylvania offers a innovative interdisciplinary MFA program. Candidates in painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and time-based media work with faculty of all disciplines. Students work closely with distinguished artists, writers, curators, and critics in conjunction with a dynamic lecture series held at the Institute of Contemporary Art, on the Penn campus. In addition to seminar and studio courses within the department on a broad array of concepts and techniques, the program allows the integration of study in architecture, landscape architecture, art history, and all of the liberal arts, drawing on the full range of resources available at the University of Pennsylvania.
