Program Description:

The Applied Behavior Analysis Graduate Certificate trains students to apply the principles of learning and behavior to influence behavior change that is significant to society. Learn to systematically change behavior by analyzing related environmental variables and applying interventions based on the principles of behavior analysis. Behavior analysts address a wide range of everyday issues, including enhancing staff performance, promoting industrial and public safety initiatives, teaching effective parenting skills, treating problem behavior in children, improving general and special education teaching strategies, rehabilitating individuals who abuse substances, and more. This program is continuously responsive to the guidelines of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and is designed to prepare students seeking to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).


Eighteen (18) credit course hour sequence has been approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board for BCBA certification examination.

Eligibility Requirements:

Students must submit an application, official undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts, two letters of recommendation, resume and statement of goals.

International Student Requirements:

Official document that validates completion and conferral of a degree, diploma, or certificate. Official international transcripts must be mailed. While not required, applicants are encouraged to submit transcripts to World Education Services (WES) for evaluation. Official TOEFL or IELTS exam scores required.
