Graduate Programs in the Division of Education and Human Services are designed for both currently certified teachers looking to add a certification or enhance their skills, and for those who wish to enter the field of education and become a certified teacher. We also offer programs for those working in education related fields that do not require certification. Through course work, students will acquire a wide range of knowledge and skills designed to prepare them to become instructional educators and leaders who know how to orchestrate assessment, diversity, technique, and technology.
M.S. in Education (Online) is for the graduate student who wishes to earn the master’s degree in ONE year,
fully online (36 credits)
M.S. in Education with Dual Teaching Certification (Early Elementary and Special Education) is for the graduate student who is seeking to become a licensed teacher in Pennsylvania.
M.S. in Special Education with Autism Endorsement is for the certified teacher who desires to add a special education (PK-8) teaching certificate with an Autism Endorsement. (33 credits).
M.S. in Education with Secondary Teaching Certification is for the graduate student who wants to teach at the secondary education level (grades 7-12) in English, Social Studies, Biology and/or General Science (42 credits).
M.S. in Education with Administrative Certification (School Principal) and PDE-approved Endorsement is for the certified teacher who wants to become a school principal (PK-12) (42 credits).
M.S. in Education with an Emphasis on Social Emotional Learning is for teachers who currently hold a valid Pennsylvania teaching certification and wish to pursue a graduate degree with a focus on social-emotional learning. This program will be offered in a cohort fashion at approved off-campus locations throughout the Delaware Valley.

Accreditation:Neumann College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
International Student Requirements:Applicants from foreign countries, regardless of citizen status, must submit official TOEFL scores (no more than two years old) that should meet the score requirement of 84 overall with a 26 in speaking. All transcripts must be evaluated by any company within NACES (naces.org).
