The Programs in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences offer both entry-level education for career preparation as a physical therapist as well as post-professional education for individuals interested in leadership positions in clinical practice, education or research.
The entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) is 31 months. The DPT degree is awarded upon successful completion of the academic and clinical course work including a clinical internship.

Opportunity exists to work with faculty and PhD students on collaborative research and teaching projects. Students graduate with entry-level competencies and advanced knowledge as a result of a progressive curriculum that has clinical education integrated through out all two-and-a-half years including a 12-week clinical internship. Students use healthcare technology such as personal digital assistants and Drexel's standardized patient lab to enhance their learning experience.
The PhD Program prepares individuals for leadership, teaching and research roles in the profession.
