Program Description:
The School of Graduate Studies offers the Master of Science in Instructional Technology degree with two distinct areas of study:
Educational Applications focuses on the use of technology in the classroom and the teaching of reading under two specialization's:
Education and Technology;
Reading and Technology
Transformational Applications provides tools to study technology in instructional environments, organizations, and educational institutions under two specialization's:
Instructional Design;
Leadership and Technology;
Derived directly from the above specialization's, the Graduate Division offers the following Post Master's Certificates in Instructional Technology:
Education and Technology ;
Instructional Design;
Leadership and Technology;
In addition, the Division offers the following Pennsylvania Department of Education Certifications under the auspices of Instructional Technology:
Instructional Technology Specialist;
Reading Specialist.;
Professional Development Certificates are awarded to candidates who have successfully completed a series of four Instuctional Technology courses in a related area. Current certificates include the following areas of concentration:
