Program Description:
The Holistic Spirituality Program endeavors to open the student to the divine dimension of reality, to demonstrate the interrelated and interdependent structure of all life and to investigate the relationship between the human and divine realities. Personal conversion, transformation and actualization for mission and ministry are underlying goals of the program and provide a focus for the academic, applied and experiential facets of the curriculum. Within the context of the program, spirituality is understood, not solely as a subject for academic pursuit, but as a living and transformative dynamism which needs to be unleashed in individual human lives for the good of the whole human family. The program strives to educate the total person in order to elicit a deeper self-awareness, to challenge one to respond to God's call to grow in holiness and to open one to an understanding of the significance of healthy human interaction and interdependence.
