CMU’s Heinz College offers 4 tracks within its MSIT program, all of which are centered on the intelligent blend of technology and management practices:

The MSIT program offers unprecedented flexibility in both curriculum and structure that address the needs of working professionals. These features include:
- new student intakes 3 times each year (January, May and August)
- part-time study via asynchronous online classes (as well as the option to take classes on-campus)
- classes offered year-round
All applicants whose native language (mother tongue) is NOT English must submit a test score from the TOEFL (25+ in each section) or IELTS (7+ in each section). The only exception is for students who have worked or studied for 5 years or more in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the U.K., the U.S. or South Africa.
