The School of of Journalism and Communication (http://journalism.uoregon.edu/graduate) offers Ph.D. and master's degrees in Media Studies that emphasize both qualitative and quantitative methods and provides resources for research in several overlapping areas of specialization such as media policy and law, communication and diversity, international communication, media institutions and audiences and media ethics. Our Ph.D. program offers opportunities to teach while in the program.
We also offer a professional master's program in journalism focusing on multimedia skill building.
At our Portland Oregon campus we offer master's programs in Strategic Communication and Multimedia Journalism, with coursework offered in the evenings and on weekends and designed for working professionals who can bring a good deal of experience into the classroom.
We are accredited by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
