Program Description:

The online Master's in Education, Early Childhood Education, program at Youngstown State University (YSU) prepares teachers for advanced employment in education. The licensed teacher must have the opportunity to grow as an Advanced Teacher and gain the breadth and depth of knowledge, skills and sensitivities needed to be an accomplished teacher, researcher, advocate and leader within the field.

Eligibility Requirements:

Application and supporting materials should be received at least four weeks before the beginning of the term in which the applicant plans to register. YSU admits graduate students in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Applicants must see that one transcript from each college or university attended, except YSU, is sent to the School of Graduate Studies. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to YSU.

International Student Requirements:

Student in need of a Student Visa are not permitted to be in an 100 % online program but they can stay in there country of origin and complete their studies. They fill out the regular application and select out of state. Additionally if they are on any visa other then student visa, they are welcome to apply, as well.
