Management of Child Nutrition Programs

The graduate Certificate Program in Management of Child Nutrition Program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to excel in the management of child nutrition. The program is designed for school nutrition program directors/supervisors and senior management staff employed by local school districts or state agencies, as well as those interested in pursuing careers in school nutrition.

The Graduate Certificate in Management Child Nutrition Programs requires six three-credit courses for completion and provides broad exposure to the field. Graduates of the program are prepared to take on additional responsibilities in their existing careers or begin new careers as child nutrition professionals.
Graduate Certificate Application Deadlines:
•Fall semester – July 15
•Spring semester – November 15
•Summer term – April 15
The Mississippi Department of Education has approved the coursework in the certificate program to meet the educational requirements for School Food Service Administrator. If you are from another state, please check with your state agency to determine if these courses will meet your state requirements.
