Program Description:

This program is designed for certified elementary teachers who want to complete a Masters Degree. 1.   To enable practicing teachers to enhance their understanding of and improve their ability to meet the diverse needs of children included in their classrooms. 2. To enable teachers to advance their understanding of one or more content areas they are currently teaching. 3. To enable teachers to broaden their understanding of educational research, educational theories as they apply to practice, action research practices, and educational policy.

Eligibility Requirements:

Students must have a teaching certification and be teaching English. Grade point average of 3.0 in undergraduate work is required along with 3 letters of reference, undergraduate transcripts and a personal statement of purpose. No exams are required. Application fee is $50.
