Program Description:

The online Master of Science (MS) in Applied Economics prepares you to do "real-world" economic research for a broad array of government, business, or other institutional settings. With the online MSAE program, you will receive a strong foundation to: -Understand and apply economic theory. -Collect and analyze data. -Communicate technical material effectively to others. As a graduate of the online MSAE program, you will have: -Enhanced research skills in at least one specialized area, such as economic development or business economics. -Outstanding economic analysis and decision-making skills. -Advanced understanding of macroeconomic and price theories. -Participated in research projects through coursework or UND’s Bureau of Business & Economic Research (BBER). -The opportunity to participate in a research internship. This part-time, online program is designed for working professionals. You will participate in "live" Web classes held at set times that are convenient for most students. You will also be able to view recorded lectures and access course materials at your convenience. You are NOT required to come to campus at any time. Pay in-state tuition rates for online courses regardless of where you live. Compared to paying the out-of-state tuition rate, this can translate into big savings for you!
