At the University of New Haven, we know what it takes to succeed as an investigator. And we’re excited to offer you a fully online Master of Science in Investigations, the first degree of its kind in the nation. Our 100% online program will help you deepen your understanding of the field of investigations while also pursuing a specialty concentration in Criminal Investigations, Financial Crimes Investigations or Digital Forensics Investigations.

With this 1-year, 10 course degree, you’ll gain a depth of knowledge in the field of investigations that no other degree can provide. Our program combines the University of New Haven’s renowned academic expertise in the areas of criminal justice and forensic science to uniquely prepare graduates for careers an investigator in both public and private organizations.

Housed in the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, this program includes esteemed faculty from our Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, and Legal Studies departments.

As a graduate of this program you will learn leading-edge investigations policies and procedures, approaches for specialized types of investigations, legal issues related to investigations, effective investigative techniques, and how to use tools and tests employed by forensic scientists.

No GRE or GMAT is required to apply for the program and a discount is available for sworn officers.
