Master of Science in Emergency Management
The Master of Science in Emergency Management program at the University of New Haven was the second such program offered in New England and is designed to focus on disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. In addition, the program offers courses on the social effects of different disaster types, the role of the emergency manager in disasters, and disaster preparedness in the public and private sectors.
From firefighters to emergency responders to disaster planners; emergency management specialists are critical to our communities. A Master’s in Emergency Management will equip you to be a leader in this growing field. And, our 100% online program is specifically designed for working professionals. Only one course is required per term for maximum work-life balance.
