Program Description:

The master's degree in History at UNK is designed for a wide variety of persons interested in pursuing graduate education in historical study. The program offers credit for those just beginning a graduate career, teachers and others desiring further professional development, and those seeking greater personal fulfillment. This degree does NOT lead to teacher certification or a field endorsement. Two options are available, thesis and non-thesis. All coursework is offered in a convenient online format. The University of Nebraska at Kearney offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For 2012-2013, non-resident graduate online tuition is $418.00 per credit hour; resident graduate tuition is $269.00 per credit hour (fees are additional).
