The field of criminal justice has expanded far beyond the traditional roles of the police, courts and corrections. Employers are actively seeking personnel trained in crime prevention, law enforcement, investigative forensics, crisis management and more. Individuals who not only have an understanding of the entire criminal justice system but also possess skills in leadership, management and cross-agency collaboration will have a distinctive edge.
