The Athletic Administration emphasis teaches students about the leadership and organization of interscholastic athletic programs, legal aspects of athletic administration and relevant financial concepts. It prepares students for the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association certified athletic administration exam.
Leadership Students who complete this emphasis will improve their effectiveness as organizational leaders. They will learn models and strategies, apply critical thinking, and evaluate organizational behavior.
Training and Development This emphasis focuses on familiarizing students with effective strategies for leading, operating, developing and coaching within the field of human resources.
