University of Colorado - Boulder
CU Boulder Graduate School
Master of Engineering and Master of Science
CU Boulder Graduate School enables you to earn a Master of Engineering, a Master of Science, graduate certificates, or credit in an individual course in a way that works for you. As the campus-wide delivery platform for distance and online education for more than 45 years, CU Boulder Graduate School makes high-quality education attainable for students who are unable to attend classes on campus. Via live class recordings and a course library of previously recorded lectures, we provide you with the opportunity to continue your education and professional development while working conveniently within your own time constraints and career demands.
Many students are working professionals, on active military duty, or do not have access to a local graduate program, and CU Boulder Graduate School puts the University of Colorado Boulder courses within their reach.
We supply you with the tools to make your distance education pursuit a success. Distance students are given the same support and provided with the same services as on-campus students. You will have the same access to staff, university faculty, and class peers. More importantly, you will receive the same rigorous, high-quality, and valuable education. Unlike other online degree programs, CU Boulder Graduate School allows you to watch classes live, actively participate in classes from a distance, and even attend lectures on campus where possible.
Finally, once you have completed your education goal, you earn the same graduate degree or certificate as on-campus students—a degree from CU-Boulder, with no mention of "online" or "distance."
