Program Description:

The Tiffin University Master of Science (MS) degree program in Psychology is a fascinating look into human mental processes and behavior. Every course in the interdisciplinary curriculum is developed and taught by a faculty member with field experience in various components of the mental health and criminal justice systems.

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. The psychology program at Tiffin University provides instruction and experience in a range of concepts, issues and theories emerging from scientific study. It will increase your sensitivity to, and understanding of, biological, social, emotional and cognitive processes underlying human thoughts and actions.

Students earning MS degrees in psychology gain broad, graduate-level knowledge in developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology and other disciplines. Your research and analytical skills can be applied in a wide range of professional settings, to teaching psychology in most community colleges and to pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology. The Tiffin University MS degree in Psychology focuses on scientific/experimental psychology, not counseling/clinical psychology. It does not lead to licensure of any kind.
