The College of Engineering is pleased to offer its Master of Science in Engineering Management degree in a fully online, on-campus classroom, or hybrid-format. The Master of Science in Engineering Management is designed for students with undergraduate science, technology or engineering degrees who wish to pursue careers in technology-based ventures, and want to learn the management techniques necessary to drive and oversee technology development and implementation in organizations. This unique graduate degree has been jointly developed with the Fox School of Business and Management, with required and elective courses offered in both schools.
The program will give participants insights into the market and commercial factors that should be considered when developing new products or technologies, or introducing them into their organizations.
Along with the M.S. in Engineering Management, the College of Engineering offers a short-course Certificate program in Engineering Management which requires 9 credit hours.
The M.S. in Engineering Management requires 30 semester hours and can be completed on either a full-time or part-time basis. To be awarded the degree, students must complete 21 semester hours of required courses, with 13.5 semester hours taken in the College of Engineering and 7.5 semester hours taken in the Fox School of Business and Management. The remaining 9 semester hours will consist of elective courses taken from either school.
