Master of Arts in College Student Development
The College Student Development is an evening program, designed to accommodate the busy schedule of working professionals.
The Master of Arts in College Student Development at St. Edward’s University emphasizes hands-on learning through practica, internships and research.
In this program, you’ll hone valuable insights to prepare for a career in higher education, including positions such as student life director, international studies adviser, academic adviser or residence life director. Graduates are also prepared to pursue doctoral studies for high-level administrative positions at colleges or universities.
Classes meet on campus every other Saturday, with an online component during the off weeks, making classes convenient for those working full-time and for those commuting from outside the Austin area. Taking two classes each semester, the MACSD is typically completed in two years.
St. Edward's University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
