SNHU’s MS in Psychology: Child and Adolescent Development offers you a strong advanced degree in psychology with specialty courses considered essential to careers focusing on the care and development of children and adolescents. You will develop assessment, intervention, and consultation strategies that address the unique individual, cultural, and psychological needs of children and families. You will apply psychological theories and methods in the assessment, intervention and prevention of psychological, emotional, psychophysiological and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents Accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Note: This program does not lead to licensure but does prepare you for doctoral studies.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a BA/BS in Psychology OR BA/BS in another discipline with demonstrated experience in Statistics and Research methods in a social science. Students who do not meet this criteria may be provisionally accepted and complete the recommended coursework before beginning their graduate classes. Minimum 2.75 GPA. No GMAT or GRE required.
