If you love literature and enjoy analyzing literary works, then SNHU’s Master of Arts degree in English will deepen your knowledge and expand your critical analysis and communication skills. Offered entirely online, this 36-credit program provides a strong foundation in British and American literary works and allows you to tailor the program to your interests, with traditional and nontraditional course topics ranging from Shakespeare, Victorian Literature and the Renaissance to Romantic literature, American Modernism, gender, and multi-ethnic studies.

Eligibility Requirements:Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum 2.75 GPA. Applicants must submit a 200-500 word statement of purpose on why they are pursuing the degree. A 5-10-page, double spaced, literary critical analysis or research paper is also required.
