Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion
They say you are what you eat — caring for your patients' nutritional needs can make all the difference in their overall health.
You'll develop an advanced understanding of nutrition, fitness and wellness. Our students evaluate health behaviors on a global level and seek to influence the nutrition of our population. We also have a nutrition entrepreneurship concentration for students interested in developing entrepreneurial ventures in the food and nutrition field.
Whether you decide to study online through our new distance learning program or choose to attend classes on campus surrounded by world-renowned teaching hospitals and research facilities, our program is designed to extend beyond acute care issues to promote community health and the practical aspects of working in the field of nutritional wellness.
Our program is designed for students with backgrounds in nutrition, biology, health sciences, health education, athletic training, exercise physiology and physical education. You'll be prepared for a wide range of careers as health educators, researchers and more.
Students pursuing the online degree have the same opportunities to customize their program as students in the on-campus program by selecting from either the Wellness or Entrepreneurship tracks.
