The Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations is a 45 credit degree program that includes both core and elective classes as well as a professional internship. Students customize their course of study by selecting two of our 13 specializations to develop functional and regional expertise. Certificate programs in UN Studies, Post-Conflict State Reconstruction and Sustainability, and Global Health Management are designed for professionals and recent bachelor’s degree graduates who seek to explore a career in international relations or develop additional skills without committing to a Master’s degree program.
The School’s dedicated internship and professional services offices support the development and career goals of all graduate students through one-on-one advising, workshops, alumni mentorship, and guidance with competitive internship, fellowship and placement opportunities. Graduates of the School bring diplomatic skills and a solid understanding of international affairs to careers in public service, business, law, and the nonprofit sector.
