Homeland security is a multifaceted career field and, much like security threats, the skills needed to protect our country are always changing. Whether you seek to enhance your current career experience or prepare for new job opportunities, a specialization in Homeland Security will prepare you to lead others in protecting our nation.

The program consists of six courses that cover the fundamentals of homeland security issues and procedures, including forensic financial analysis of fraud and embezzlement, disaster preparedness strategies and response systems, an overview of terrorism and threats, risk assessment, and the responsibilities of government agencies involved in homeland security initiatives.
