Throughout the program, students will develop the skills and principles of behavior analysis to perform behavior assessments, intervention plans and to train others in effective implementation. Coursework includes the principles of applied behavior analysis, writing behavioral objectives, identification and consultation, treatment plan design and evaluation for developmental problems - including language, conduct, defiance, depression and autism - and functioning as parole and probation officers to adults and children.
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) has approved the curriculum (courses CRJ 622 through CRJ 657) as meeting the 4th Edition Task List’s coursework requirement for taking the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Examination.
