The curriculum of the MSEd in Learning Design and Technology includes cutting-edge learning theory, educational technology, and instructional development to equip students with the skills to design, evaluate, and implement effective instructional methods and digital tools. Students in the program have the opportunity to learn and practice dozens of digital tools through a technology badge system. Earning badges increases technical proficiency and demonstrates mastery of specific instructional technologies to employers. Career applications exist anywhere that people need to be taught and trained, but professionals with this skill set are especially in demand in K-12 and higher education, health care, business and the military.
