Non-profit organizations work to serve neighborhoods, communities and society. As a professional who currently works or is seeking to work in the non-profit sector, you want to make sure these beneficial organizations are as efficient as possible to have the biggest impact—and do the most good.
In our Non-Profit Management Concentration, coursework focuses on the complexity and interconnectedness of human problems, social and cultural forces, national policies, and the demands of organizational work.

In our MSHSV with a Concentration in Non-Profit Management, you’ll:
Learn and hone skills such as grant writing, planning and managing of people, preparing program budgets, and implementing information systems
Gain a thorough understanding of human behavior systems, ranging from individuals and groups to organizations, communities, and society
Focus on the core values of the human services work industry and its history and ethics, as well as self-awareness and to have an empathic understanding of clients' values, lifestyles', and goals
