You want to make a difference every day, whether it’s through counseling crime victims, providing mental health counseling in detention and correctional facilities, understanding forensic assessments, or as an advocate in the court system. Post’s MSHSV degree program can help you begin or advance your career in the human services field. Designed with the working adult in mind, the program helps you learn while you work, completely online in our accelerated program.
Through our Concentration in Forensic Mental Health Counseling, you’ll develop the theoretical, analytical and clinical skills to provide counseling services to juveniles and adults involved in the justice system. Explore the concepts related to criminal behavior and psychopathology, forensic assessment, and victimology as a way to understand how the judicial system and field of human services work together.
