Our Concentration in Clinical Counseling within Organization Settings prepares you with the conceptual, analytical and operational knowledge you’ll need to begin or advance your career path in clinical counseling. Courses in the program cover a comprehensive study of the issues involved with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various psychiatric disorders. You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the primary models, theories and techniques in individual, group and family counseling.
In our Clinical Counseling within Organizational Settings concentration, you’ll:
Learn how the models of counseling apply to various client populations and presenting problems
Identify the basic stages involved in the counseling process from the initial interview through termination and referral
Discover a foundation for a personal philosophy of and approach to counseling
Learn from professionals in the field who bring years of experience to the classroom
