Higher Education Administration Concentration (MEd)

The concept of a traditional education is constantly shifting. More working adults are pursuing advanced degrees while they work, and with the increasing availability and quality of e-learning, students who do not want a campus-based experience can earn degrees wherever they are. As a current or aspiring an administrator in higher education, you want to be part of this new movement in higher education and lead positive change to develop accessible, innovative learning experiences.

For improving the learning environment for traditional students and lifelong learners, our Master of Education with a Concentration in Higher Education Administration helps you learn specialized skills and strategies to address these changing needs. You’ll learn to identify and implement research-based practices while you keep sight on the future of education.

In our MEd with a Concentration in Higher Education Administration, you’ll:

  • Identify, analyze and evaluate leadership strategies in the administration of higher education

  • Learn to identify and apply research-based strategies for teaching adult learners

  • Develop advanced skills in analyzing demographic and social trends, student service models, and higher education delivery models and their implications for college recruitment, retention, graduation, and employment
