Program Description:

Master of Education (MEd)

Designed with professional educators like you in mind, our Master of Education program curriculum is tailored to the critical thinking, analytic and forecasting skills you’ll need to lead change in your organization.

The program is grounded in the identification, evaluation and implementation of research-based education practices as it looks to the future of education through by utilizing trending and forecasting strategies.

You’ll take four core courses that cover the foundation of our M.Ed. program, including the principles of cognitive science, metrics to measure achievement, relevant technology and more. Following the core, you’ll select a concentration sequence. You’ll complete the program with a study of research methods, and the design and implementation of an application-based capstone project.

Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared for leadership positions in your field, depending on your concentration. Just a few opportunities include: teacher-leaders, K-12 department chairs, administrative leaders, curriculum developers, corporate trainers, training leaders, instructional designers, military trainers, higher education professionals and more.

Learn completely online from an institution backed by a 125-year history. You’ll take courses from a faculty of industry professionals who bring their experience in the field to the classroom. Classmates include other motivated professionals who want to make a difference in their careers, which translates to networking opportunities across industries. With no set login times, you’ll truly be able to learn on your own time. But just because you learn online doesn’t mean you’re out of touch: Professors offer feedback in real time, and courses are practice-based and highly interactive, just as they are on campus.

Note: Post University’s Master of Education program is not a teacher licensure program. Please check with your state and/or local district to confirm the use of this degree towards any path to certification.
